Klay breaks the internet with Hilarious Warm-up

Tuesday night in San Francisco the Warriors played host to the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons, a storied franchise plagued by inconsistency over the last couple of years felt the true wrath of the splash bros and company losing by 16 in a game that was never really even close.

Despite a near-flawless performance from the Dubs, it was star player, Klay Thompson, that seems to be getting all the attention for the somewhat odd warmup he did before checking into the game in the 4th quarter. We all know Klay as a funny guy, whether it be his Instagram lives on his boating commute to Chase Center, signing a toaster for a fan, or even doing his best Karate Kid impression on the beaches of San Francisco, the guy knows how to have fun.

What we saw last night from Thompson was a stretch that I’m sure he does often to help keep the mobility in his knees and lower body having suffered two of the worst basketball injuries in such a short amount of time. Quite honestly, I’m here for it, whatever Klay has to do to keep himself ready to perform is fine with me and presumably the rest of Dubnation. Plus, who doesn’t love a good little Stanky leg here and there?

Nevertheless, the Dubs look to be putting their mid-January slump in the rearview mirror as they get ready for a well-deserved 7 game home stand which will be capped off with a primetime game against the Nets on January 29th.
